Una Pizza + Wine
Una Pizza + Wine is known for their signature in house wood oven baked pizzas, but they also have a detailed wine menu perfect to pair with your food. They offer bottles from North America, Europe and many more. Una also promotes their house wine $11 a glass or $55 a bottle that pairs perfectly with their tasty menu!
Frenchie Wine Bar
This modern French-inspired wine bar offers classic cocktails, such as the Old Fashioned. But Frenchie Wine Bar also offers signature house cocktails like the Field of Mars. It is made with Cocchi Americano, Fernet Menthe, Earl Grey syrup, and soda. Open from Wednesday to Sunday starting at 5PM.
Ship and Anchor
Ship and Anchor offers local and imported beers on tap. Many from Alberta itself, such as Banded Peak, Big Rock, Citizen and more. Ship and Anchor also promotes their daily specials menu with deals on drinks and food. They also show live soccer matches as well as have live music during the month. Royale
Royale is a vibrant and playful restaurant and bar with the largest Rose collection in all of Calgary. Their menu contains a mix of classic and original house inspired dishes that will leave your mouth watering for more! National
At National you can experience happy hour everyday during the week from 3-6pm with all drinks half price and pizzas for $18. Blanco
Blanco’s “halfy” hour menu runs everyday 3pm-5pm and 9pm to close. They offer half price tequila, nachos and tacos, as well as $6 beer and margaritas. For something wild, try the Diamante margarita, which consists of Maestro Dobel Diamante, clear citrus, cucumber, and jalapeno. It’s the right amount of spice for the perfect drink. Ceili’s daily happy hour menu runs Tuesday – Thursday from 3pm-6pm and 9 till close, Friday and Saturday from 3-6PM and all day Sunday. Their Happy Hour menu is split into four menus based on pricing. Must try their $4 guacamole with tortilla chips , or thier Canadian ‘Za for $12, both a part of their daily happy hour menu. Browns Socialhouse
Browns Socialhouse is the perfect spot for drinks with friends, or a romantic dinner for two. With a drink menu offering a long selection of house wines, signature cocktails, and beer you will be in for quite the night. Browns Socialhouse offers an original cocktail, called the Social Hound made up of Absolut grapefruit vodka, fresh grapefruit juice, soda, and bellini slush. From 3-6pm & 9pm to close, Browns Socialhouse happy hour offers their social drinks on special, $4 off their starters and shareables, and lastly $5 and $10 food options! It’s an offer that’s hard to refuse!
Comery
Comery Block is the sister of Hayden Block in Kensington. They’re a West-Tennessee inspired style bbq house offering trays of Tennessee BBQ of ribs, chicken, pulled pork and more. Comery also has a great happy hour menu, Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm, offering all whiskey half price, all beers $5, and whiskey cocktails $4 off. After 10pm Comery has ½ off meat trays. A good way to try out all their meats offered!
Jamesons
Jamesons Irish Pub is one of the most lively pubs on 17th Ave! Working with local suppliers to bring fresh food and local craft beer, striving to be a restaurant that fits the needs of all types of people. Their daily feature menu offers an array of delicious deals on food and drinks, and signature craft beer from our very own city. Happy hour is all day Sundays!
Gringo Street
The yellow building on 17th Ave is home to the unique latin -inspired restaurant, Gringo Street. Offering original cocktails like the El Chapo: spiced rum, guava, lime, and ginger beer. Gringo Street also has an extensive latin themed menu with signature dishes such as their Fried Chicken Burrito. Let’s not forget their extensive margarita flavours offered as single drink for $13 or a pitcher for $45! Happy Hour is before 7PM and after 9PM.
Lulu Bar
Lulu Bar is one of the must-visit places on 17th! Their signature cocktails the Bobcat, and the King Kona are one of their many delicious drinks offered. The Bobcat comes served in a Lucky cat tiki mug and consists of vodka or bourbon, peach liqueur, curacao, coconut, lemon, and smokey ginger ale. The King Kona consists of coconut rum, coffee rum, Zubrowka, cold brew, coconut cream, chocolate, honey, and bitters and comes served in a totem pole mug. Trolley 5

Cibo on 17th is breaking all the rules with their new style of dining. At Cibo, the food is meant to be shared and enjoyed with friends.
